We do not collect, receive, or store any personal information about you. Everything the app measures about your device stays on your device. The app does show ads and does report crashes, and those third-party services collect data as described below — you control that with a consent choice you can change at any time.
None. We operate no servers, no accounts, and no backend. No data is transmitted to us, because there is nowhere for it to go.
The app writes the following to its own private storage. It never leaves your device unless you personally choose to share it:
Uninstalling the app deletes all of it. You can also erase it at any time from Settings → Delete app data.
The app's whole purpose is to show you your own hardware: processor, GPU, memory, storage, display, cameras, sensors, battery, thermal state and network status. This is read live from Android and rendered on screen. It is not transmitted anywhere and not stored, except for the battery charge log described above.
The app requests microphone access for exactly one feature: the microphone self-test, which tells you whether your mic hardware works. It is requested at the moment you tap that test, never at launch.
No audio is ever recorded, written to storage, or transmitted. The test reads raw audio into a temporary buffer, computes a single loudness number from it, draws that as a level meter, and discards the buffer immediately. Nothing is kept.
These are operated by other companies under their own privacy policies. Advertising and analytics collection is gated behind your consent choice (section 6).

On first launch the app shows a consent form provided by Google's User Messaging Platform, which reflects the requirements of your region (including GDPR in the EEA/UK). Your choice controls whether advertising and analytics identifiers may be used for personalised advertising.
You can change or withdraw it at any time — the option is one tap away, in both More → Privacy options and Settings → Privacy options. We do not bury it.
You can also reset or delete your advertising identifier in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads.

Location, contacts, photos, files and storage, phone state, SMS, calendar, camera, and the ability to see your full list of installed apps. A device-information app does not need them, and several competing apps in this category request them anyway.
This app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has provided information through a third-party service listed above, contact us and we will help you raise it with that provider.
Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to export or erase on request. To exercise rights over data held by the third parties in section 5, use their policies linked above, or withdraw consent in-app as described in section 6. Local data on your device is erased through Settings → Delete app data, or by uninstalling.
If this policy changes materially we will update the effective date above and, where the change affects how data is collected, surface it in the app. Continuing to use the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
